Describe efforts taken or Planned by DAPCU to increase the number of people availing Social Benefit Schemes in your district in FY 2016-17.
DAPCU Champai has established 13 Help Desks at NACP
facilities in the district. Nodal officers have been nominated and trained to
manage the services provided by Help Desks. A directory listing various
government social protection schemes has been developed and is made available
at Help Desks along with the application forms for submission.
Through the single window model, DAPCU has facilitated
submission of 57 applications from PLHIVs, of whom 50 are receiving benefits
from different schemes.
DAPCU, in coordination with Help Desks, has
organized 19 camps for generating demand for social entitlements. Meetings have
been held with line departments to follow-up on pending applications, such as,
housing assistance, widow pension, food grains through Antyodaya Anna Yojana, maxi
cab concession and child sponsorship.
