Describe efforts taken or Planned by DAPCU to increase the number of people availing Social Benefit Schemes in your district in FY 2016-17.
1. Help Desk
staff and People living with HIV were sensitized regarding the DAPCU Led Single
Window Model.
2. The
Additional District Magistrate (ADM-Development) was invited to the DAPCC
meeting and briefed about the DAPCU Led Single Window Model and the barriers
faced by clients in accessing Social Benefit Schemes. Following the meeting the
ADM (D) sent an order to all Block Development Officers to provide scheme
related benefits to People Living with HIV.
3. Based on
request made by DAPCU the Krishi Vigiyan Kendra, Ramsai, Maynaguri, Jalpaiguri
has agreed to train 25 People Living with HIV on developing kitchen garden,
goat rearing and poultry farming.
